Updated October 5, 2026. Riftbound: Radiance is the fifth set in Riot Games' League of Legends trading card game, and it releases worldwide on October 23, 2026. Preview season runs until October 10, so most of the set is already public. This guide covers the release date, the Legends and mechanics Riot has confirmed, what's in a pack and the products to know about. We'll update it when previews end.

Riftbound Radiance release date and key dates

Riftbound Radiance card list and Legends
Riot's overview describes Radiance as 167 collectible cards, including 9 Legends, with the set code RAD. The theme is performing like a master: playing at your peak, under the brightest lights, with everything on the line.
Legends Riot has featured so far include Seraphine (Starry-Eyed Songstress), Evelynn, Ekko, Ziggs, Jarvan IV and Orianna. Champion units revealed during previews include Seraphine, Not Alone; Ekko, Ingenious; Orianna, Mechanical Marvel; K'Sante, Dauntless; Kai'Sa, Rebel; Mordekaiser, Dominating; and Neeko, Blending In, a champion built to work alongside other Legends.

New mechanics in Radiance
- Deploy: Gear you play only to a battlefield, where it grants benefits while it stays there. If an opponent holds that battlefield, it's killed.
- Show Off: reveal a qualifying card from your hand or board to unlock an extra effect.
- Disarm: when the unit attacks, it reduces an enemy unit's Might.
- Equipment Units: a new unit type. Equipment can now become a unit, and when it does, it's automatically unequipped. Orianna's Legend ability builds around this.

What's in a Radiance booster pack?
Riot lists each Radiance booster as:
- 7 Commons
- 3 Uncommons
- 1 foil slot
- 1 Rare or Epic
- 1 slot that can be a Rare, Epic, Alt Art, Special Alt, Overnumbered or Ultimate Rare
- 1 token, rune or alt art rune
- 1 informational insert
The headline chase is the Radiance Ultimate Rare. Riot says it's significantly harder to find than the Baron and appears in roughly 0.025% of booster packs, about one in every 4,000. Our Riftbound rarities guide and overnumbered and Signature guide explain the other Showcase tiers.
Radiance products
- Booster packs and displays: for opening the set. Check the listing for the exact pack count before you buy.
- Seraphine vs. Evelynn Showdown decks: two preconstructed decks built to play against each other. It's the easiest way to learn the set with a friend.
- Vault Bundle: Riot lists a storage box, six boosters, foil tokens and 36 runes.
- Pre-Rift kits: for participating stores' early events. The Pre-Rift promo is Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor.

Should you open Radiance or buy singles?
Open packs if you enjoy the opening itself or want a broad start on the set. If you're building around a few specific Radiance cards, singles are almost always the cheaper route, especially for the Showcase versions, which most boxes won't contain.
